Feb 11: Early AM ARRIVE Delhi
India’s capital and major gateway to the country, contemporary is a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its folds both the ancient and the modern. The division between New Delhi and Old Delhi is the division between the capitals of the British and the Mughals respectively. The walled city (Old Delhi) is all traditional and culture where one shall be able to glimpse a past lifestyle. New Delhi on the contrary is a city trying to live up to the 21st century standards.
• Arrive Delhi by international flight.
• Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel Jaypee Siddharth
• Day free for rest and recoup. Group meditation and gathering after dinner/ independent activities can include shopping, massage, United Coffee House dinner

Feb 13: DELHI – JODHPUR BY AIR
A flourishing trading center of the 16th century, the fortress city of Jodhpur is now the second largest city of Rajasthan. Jodhpur was founded in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha who claimed to be descendent of lord Rama. The massive fort Mehrangarh-camefirst and around it grew the city of Jodhpur protected by a high stone wall with seven gates and countless bastions. Jaswant Thada (A collection of royal cenotaphs) and Umaid Bhawan Palace are some of the magnificent monuments to see.

Feb 16: IN JODHPUR – UDAIPUR BY ROAD
On the periphery of the great Indian Desert State of Rajasthan is the City of Lakes – Udaipur.
Founded in 1599 by Maharana Udai Singh, son of the legendary Maharana Pratap of Mewar; this "Venice of the East’ is a jewel tucked away in the Aravalli hills. Its places and forts, interesting bazars put Udaipur on the "must see" map of tourists to India. Its places in the lakes have been the location for many films, fashion magazines, and a destination for honeymooners. Udaipur’s palaces speak of a by-gone age when chivalry was above life and royalty and culture flowered.

• Morning drive to Udaipur en route visiting Jain Temples of Ranakpur temples (275 km / 172 miles / approx 6 hrs drive). Lunch stop.
• Ranakpur, visiting Jain Temples of Ranakpur built in the 15th century is situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Its surroundings are quiet and picturesque. Ranakpur has grand structures and beautiful sculptures. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. The magic of light and shade is really awe inspiring. Surya Temple and other Jain Temples are side attractions.

Feb 17: IN UDAIPUR
• Breakfast at hotel
• Morning excursion to Shri Eklingji Prabhu Temple, Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple complex is made completely out of marble. It also contains large colorfully painted statues of Lord Shiva’s Nandi Bull. Significantly, the original shrine was built by Bapa Rawal, the founder of the Mewar Dynasty. Nearby, and also worth seeing, are the ancient 10th century Sas Bahu temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temples are covered in intricate sculptures.
• Afternoon boat cruise on Pichola Lake surrounded by splendid hills, palaces, temples and bathing ghats. We will stop at the island palace of the queen which seems to float at the center of the lake.

Feb 18: IN UDAIPUR

• Morning city sightseeing tour of Udaipur: Options include visiting the City Palace, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum) and Sahelion-Ki-Bari (Queen's resort for her friends).
• Afternoon shopping and dinner with option to book a Vedic Astrology reading, an ayurvedic massage
• Evening Folkloric Dance Performance at Bhartiya Loka Kala Mandal

Feb 19: IN UDAIPUR – PUSHKAR BY ROAD
